Join Chef Williams at Uptowne Café, she hails from Jackson Mississippi via Houston TX and has worked with the likes of Carla Hall and Gordon Ramsey.

Five courses of Southern Fare will be served with wine pairings.

Chef Williams Bio:

Enrika adores food. Always has, since she was a small child growing up in Mississippi. She grew up intrigued by PBS cooking shows, her grandfather’s gardening and her grandmother’s uncanny and unfailing knack for entertaining in the truest traditions of “southern lady” charm.
To fuel the fascination and power her imagination, Enrika attended the Art Institute of Atlanta and graduated in 2004. She remained and worked in Atlanta for the next six years, honing her craft and working under masterful chefs including Emeril Lagasse, Mel Toledo, Vincent Hernandez and Richard Blais. The opportunities to learn and intern took her to Mc Cready’s in Charleston with Sean Brock, as well as the historic Greenbriar Resort in White Sulphur Springs, WV.
Enrika returned to Mississippi in 2010 to join Craig Noone and his hand picked team in the opening of the acclaimed Parlor Market restaurant in downtown Jackson. during her tenure there, she was offered an internship to work with chef Joel Harrington at Marcus Sammuelson’s restaurant, Red Rooster in Harlem, New York. During this time, Enrika created and began her own company- newleaf catering, which focuses on unique and innovative ways to entertain through supper clubs, “pop up” restaurants, private chef services, as well as consulting, food writing and instruction. Recently, Enrika was featured on FOX network’s show “Hotel Hell” as a consultant for the Historic Hotel Chester in Starkville, MS.
Currently Enrika is working as a personal chef, as well as expanding her newleaf culinary brand. In her spare time, she enjoys eating good food she doesn’t have to cook, shopping for clothes she doesn’t need and spending time with awesome people.
