Chef Leigh-Ann Martin started cooking for her family at 12 years old, though, her mother argues that she was only 10 years old when she first picked up the cooking spoon. Graduating with high honors she is a proud alumna of the Institute of Culinary Education in New York City and has been a culinary professional since then. She’s worked with leading lady chefs, Chef Alex Guarnaschelli at Butter Restaurant and in 2014, had her first Caribbean-inspired dinner for a private supper club in New York City.
As a chef and blogger, Leigh-Ann hopes to breathe new fun life into Caribbean cuisine and to the home cooking process. To make restaurant-quality meals fun, quick, and accessible to the average single lady or gentleman.
Leigh-Ann Martin was born and raised in Trinidad and Tobago. She permanently moved to the U.S. in 2006 and now live in New Jersey.
